I'm experiencing difficulties getting the launcher to connect to (apparently) the Blizzard server. However, obviously Battle.net works fine, and I could launch the game directly through the game application and I could log on and so forth.

However, the repair application is giving the same error, 'can't contact the server.' Internet works fine for everything except the Curse client and WOW launcher. The error message for the launcher said something about a patch. I suspected that my router was to blame, but even when I cut out that 'middle man', the problem persists.

I frequently getting this issue ' Connection to server lost. ' Normally my fiber internet speed is 4 mb per sec but here; its around 100 kb per sec. I suspect my Internet provider is to blame, but it's strange that none of the other programs have this difficulty. Could it be that the launcher file is somehow corrupted?

Firewall isn't the problem and neither is (probably) my anti-virus (AVG). At least I couldn't find any problems relating to them, except for Curse's notification that apparently AVG is conflicting with it.
