Ok, I'm sure something like this must exist, but I just have no idea where to look for it. Basically, I'm thinking of some kind of device that plugs into the phone socket, then you plug a receiver into the phone (or in my case a fax machine) which is elsewhere in the house, and it lets the phone/fax talk to the socket wirelessly. If it doesn't exist, it should, cos its a great idea and I dont see why it wouldn't work. I mean, its the same theory as a walkabout phone where the base station part plugs into the wall, and then you plug a wireless receiver into the phone/fax which turns it into the handset part. Even if the receiver bit needs to plug into a powerpoint, that'd still be fine, its much easier to position the phone/fax near a powerpoint than it is a phone socket, at least in my case. So yeah, anyone know of anything like this? Any way to wirelessly connect a device to a phone socket wirelessly? And if so, where I would go to get one? Thanks, that'd be awesome hunter.

I guess in my head it seems logical that something like this would exist, I mean its not like any new technology would need to be invented to do it. If I was some sort of electrical engineering ninja I'd make one myself and sell it and get rich! We got or had some at work where u plug it into a hot point and the other unit into another hot point. Gsyncit serial keygen maker. And it transmits through your house electricity lines. Yeah, I have heard of those, but I've heard some conflicting accounts on how reliable they are. Also heard that sometimes things like fax machines dont work so good with them. Have you had any personal experience with them at all?

Also, how much are they? Last edited by Khel at 19:29:51 26/Jan/05.
